Ella M. Beasley

Ella Beasley, of Sacramento, CA passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the age of 100. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Beasley and infant baby, John, Jr. Ella is survived by her children, John D. Beasley of Hollister, CA, Michael Beasley of Phoenix, AZ, George Beasley of Sacramento, CA, Debbie (Richard) Lambert of Salinas, CA, Susan Ocasio of Baton Rouge, LA; 5 grandchildren, Troy, Adrian, Harmony, Ryan, and Jianna; and many great-grandchildren. She was born in 1922 in Duplin County, NC and was reared as an orphan after her parents died during her early childhood. Lifelong spouses, Ella and John were married in 1943. In 1947, Ella and family were transferred to the Ord military complex of Monterey County, CA near which they established their homestead as the family expanded, the last of whom was born in Germany. Ella lived abroad for 3 years with family before returning to California and embarking on her own career in the food processing industry, from which she retired in 1990. Ella was adored by her family, never failing to express her sincere love every time she saw or spoke to them. She was an inspiration with her abundant generosity of home, heart, and possessions. Memorial services will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13th, 2023 at Rovana Cremation and Burial Center, 8366 Rovana Circle, Sacramento, CA 95828.
