Karen Marie Walker
January 19th, 1958 - May 29th, 2023
Beloved Karen Marie Walker passed away in Sacramento on May 29, 2023, at the age of 65. Karen was preceded in death by her wonderful mother Doris “Katey” Walker. Karen grew up in Davis, California and enjoyed the community pool in the summers and visiting grandparents in Humboldt County on vacations. Karen completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Missouri, Columbia, in home economics and fashion merchandising. Her career included managing women’s clothing stores in Florida. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, and reading. She loved beaches, rivers, Redwood trees and dolphins. Karen is survived by significant other Charles Breck, in Rancho Cordova, California, and her sisters: Sharon Arey in southern California, Lauren Peloquin in Texas and Dauren Walker in Florida. Karen wished to be cremated. Further details will be shared. We celebrate her life and appreciate what she has given us. She was a beautiful person and she will be missed.
