November 19th, 1946 - March 5th, 2024
Phyllis Rae Brown, 77, Cameron Park, Ca, formerly of Bellwood PA, passed away peacefully Tuesday March 5, 2024 at Blissful Garden, from Alzheimer. She was born November 19, 1946 in Altoona, daughter of the late William Hoover and Charlotte Mary (Claycomb) Harris. She is survived by her son John (Kari) IV, grandsons John V, Kam, Bass; sister in law, Dianne L. Harris; nephews, Bradley Sewell (Kim) Harris, Travis Ronald (Amanda) Harris; great nieces, Elliott and Parker Harris; great nephews, Dillon and Reed Harris; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Richard “Rick” Harris and Sewell Aden Harris, and sister Eileen Harris. She was a 1964 graduate of Bellwood Antis High School, graduated with a BA in Bachelor of Arts in 1976, and a Juris doctor 1981 at the University of La Verne. She worked for the state in Pennsylvania and California. She loved what she did, and enjoyed the friendships she made along the way. Phyllis was of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed traveling, but her friends and family were her heart and soul of life. A memorial will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 at the El Dorado Funeral and cremation services 1004 Marshall Way, Placerville, CA 95667, United States
