Rickey Solis
November 16th, 1960 - September 16th, 2016
Rickey Alan Solis, 55, lost his battle with cancer on September 16, 2016 surrounded by family. He was born on November 16, 1960 in Salinas, Ca. Rickey was a loving father, son, brother and grandfather. He was an avid 49er fan. Rickey was a person you can depend on he was the protector for all of the family. He will truly be missed. Rickey is survived by his mother, Beatrice Sausedo, brother, Mario Estrada (Natalie), sister, Gloria Estrada Bustamantes (Ernie), children Ricky, Priscilla, Selina (Christian), Ricky (Jeanette), Kareena and Gabriel, grandchildren Corina Flores, Ariel Perez, Christian Perez Jr., Jeremiah Perez, Anthony Perez and Ricky Solis; nephews Alberto Flores, Francisco Flores, Freddie Martinez, Ruben Diaz, Jesse Diaz, Mario Estrada Jr., Michael Obezo, Jojo Obezo, Joe Martin III and Ernesto Bustamantes III, nieces Ofelia Flores, Monica Flores, Ashley Estrada, Valerie Estrada, Beatrice Martin, Brittany Martin and Marisa Estrada also survive along with numerous other aunts, cousins, and extended family. He is precededed in death by his sisters, Victoria Estrada and Linda Sausedo. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 1-9pm with a Chapel Blessing at 8pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. Cremation to follow services. An Inurnment will take place on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016 2pm at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way Salinas, CA 93907.

At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
