Erik Steven Rea A memorial graveside service for Erik Rea, 68 of Chico will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Biggs-Gridley Cemetery in Gridley. Erik passed away on September 16, 2015 in Chico. He was born on June 22,1947 in Berkeley, Ca. to Clayton and Marie Rea. His schooling had taken him up to a junior in college. Erik served in the U.S. Army achieving an E5 class. Erik married Judy on April 21,1979 in Reno, NV. He enjoyed reading, riding motorcycles, swimming, watching sports, traveling and collecting records. He is survived by his wife Judy, daughter Katy and son Christopher of Chico. Brothers Brian Rea of Chico and Scott and Keith Rea of Martinez, Ca. His mother Marie Rea of Walnut Creek, Ca.
