It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lynn K Sisler, who left us on July 5, 2024 at the age of 88. She was a beloved mother, grandparent, great grandparent and friend and a cherished member of her Church community.

Born on July 5, 1936 in Scotia, California, Lynn K Sisler attended Fortuna High School and went on to attend Humbolt State University achieving her bachelor’s degree before moving to Sacramento, California. In Sacramento, Lynn K Sisler began her teaching career and married Ray L Sisler. She was well known for her love of the outdoors and sports especially golf and tennis and she enjoyed woodworking and all types of craft projects.

Lynn K Sisler loved anything to do with the outdoors, camping, hiking and sitting around a fire. After her teaching career had concluded she worked as the tournament and lessons director at Haggin Oaks Golf course in Sacramento, California. She also co-led her grandchildren’s girl scout troop for many years. Anyone that knew Lynn knows that she was a very organized and planned out just about everything in her day-to-day life and her presence will be deeply missed by all.

Lynn K Sisler is survived by her son Marc Sisler, daughter in law Brea Sisler, her brother Marc Reese Worswick and sister-in-law Karen Worswick and her grandchildren Christina Sisler, Allyson Harrell and Hayley Ratliff and 6 great-grandchildren which she adored. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray L Sisler, her father Theodore Ignatious Worswick SR, mother, Maloa Leore Cook and brother Theodore Ignatious Worswick.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 27, 2024 from 1-4pm at the family’s home in Longmont, CO., where friends and family are welcome to share memories and celebrate Lynn’s life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Lynn K Sisler’s memory.

Lynn K Sisler will be remembered for her firm commitment to God and family. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
