On June 20, 2016 Evelyn Floyd Compiano passed away. Evelyn was born September 5, 1917. She was the Daughter of Richard and Emma Violet Floyd, who both predeceased her. Evelyn was the wife of William Compiano who predeceased her. Evelyn was also the sister of Hugh Floyd and mother of Robert Kerrison Stoffal and Richard Stoffal, all of whom predeceased her. Evelyn was born in Oakland, California. She spent much of her youth on a ranch in Healdsburg, California where she learned to love and ride horses. Evelyn is survived by her grandchildren, Monica Stoffal, Katie Flynn, Anne Stoffal and Kerrison Stoffal. Evelyn is survived by her late son's wife, Elizabeth Stoffal Harding. She is survived by her nephews, Andrew Littorno and William Littorno. Evelyn also is survived by many great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews as well as great, great nieces and nephews. The entire family would like to thank the staff at Kit Carson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their outstanding care of Evelyn Compiano the last few years of her life. The staff showed real care and concern for Evelyn and she cared for them very much.
