Shirley Currier
August 8th, 1928 - January 23rd, 2017
Shirley Currier passed away peacefully on January 23 in Moraga, CA. She was born in 1928 in Burlingame, CA. Shirley grew up in Millbrae, and attended San Mateo High School. She married William Currier in 1952. They lived in San Mateo, and after retirement, Shirley moved to Sonora, CA to be closer to her sisters. She moved to a nursing home in Moraga when her Multiple Sclerosis became too severe. She is survived by her son and daughter, Stephen and Sharon, and by Stephen's wife, Sandra, and their children, Dina, Erika and Alexander. Husband William preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 28th at 2pm at Oak Park Hills Chapel, 3111 North Main Street Walnut Creek, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to American Heart Association or National Multiple Sclerosis Society Northern CA chapter, 150 Grand Ave, Oakland, CA 94612.
