Catherine Lorraine Sugrue
September 13th, 1924 - February 6th, 2011
Catherine Lorraine Sugrue Former Resident of Pleasant Hill Resident of Rossmoor Walnut Creek Catherine Lorraine (Donovan) Sugrue, a former Elementary School Teacher, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her husband, John Raymond ""Jack"" Sugrue in 2002 after 51 years of marriage and daughter Catherine Elizabeth in 1981. She is survived by her four sons, Dennis, Jack (Mary), Timothy (Cynthia) and Michael, six grandchildren, Kevin, Anglea, Timothy, Haleigh, Jacob and Victoria Sugrue. A native of Boston, MA, Catherine was an avid Bridge player, enjoyed reading books and was a former Great Books leader. She loved to sing and sang with the Christ the King Catholic Church choir for over 20 years and loved being Irish. She will be greatly missed by all knew and loved her. Funeral services will be 11am, Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011 at OAK PARK HILLS CHAPEL, 3111 N. Main St., Walnut Creek, CA. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery Lafayette, CA.
