Patricia Ann Hall
December 6th, 1943 - May 1st, 2024
Patricia Ann Hall (Patti), 80, of Mountain Home, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at her home. Patti was born December 6, 1943on the Broadway Bridge on the way to the Boise hospital to William and Mary Evelyn (Barry) Rainey. Patti’s family nicknamed her Broadway Annie. Patti, her parents and her sister and brother moved to Grass Valley CA, when Patti was 2 years old. The family moved and lived in Wendover, UT until her father’s death when the family moved back to Mountain Home in 1956.
When Patti was 14, she was introduced to her future husband through a family member. Three years later Patti and George “Larry” Hall Jr. Started dating. Patti and Larry were married on October 20, 1961.
Patti and Larry were living on the family farm when their first daughter Brenda was born in June 1962. Four years later Stephanie was born. Patti, Larry, and the girls moved into town and lived in several locations. Patti worked at Elmore Medical Clinic as a nurses-aid, ward clerk and pharmacy tech. After Patti retired her and Larry spent their days traveling and visiting family and friends. Patti loved camping, fishing and skiing, but her greatest love was shopping. Patti loved collecting dolls, angels, and quilts.
Patti is survived by her husband Larry; daughters: Brenda Carney (Daniel) and Stefanie Kazyaka; Grandchildren: Shannon Schaff (Keith), Keli Little (Rorry), Marc Carney, Margaret Kazyaka, Zara Kazyaka; Great grandchildren: Reese Schaff, Lana Schaff, Lexie Schaff and Olive Newcomb.
Patti was preceded in death by her brother, Barry Rainey; Son-in-law Joseph T. Kazyaka; parents William and Mary Evelyn Rainey; In-laws Laurence and Margaret Hall.
She will be missed!!!

As the only funeral home in Elmore County, the staff at Rost Funeral Home work hard to be active members of the Mountain Home community and to be there to take care of families in every way possible when the need arises. Our funeral home opened in 2005 when Jerry and Janette Rost purchased the business. We’ve continued to grow along with Mountain Home. Jerry’s career began more than fifty years ago in Boise, and along the way, he acquired an 1897 horse-drawn funeral carriage, which we proudly display in our facility....
