Joyce E Folk

Joyce Elaine Folk, age 85, died peacefully early Sunday morning, April 7, 2013, in the home of her daughter and son-in-law Tomi Jill Folk and Hank Bruce of Rio Rancho, NM. She was under the care of Ambercare Hospice in her final weeks. Joyce was born January 27, 1928, to Warren and Ruby (Knudtson) Fisk of Hunter, ND, where she grew up and graduated from high school, married Don Folk, and raised four children. They were members of First Lutheran Church. The past 34 years she lived in Kissimmee, FL, where she and Don were members of Trinity Lutheran Church. He passed away on March 19th, 2007, and their cremains will be interred together in the Hunter ND cemetery. She is also survived by another daughter and two sons: Timothy (Linda) Folk, Brainerd MN, Nancy (Jeff) Boyer Globe, AZ, and Martin (Monica) Folk Kissimmee FL, six grandchildren: Jon Folk, Kari Folk, Ty (Mary) Boyer, Jay (Heather) Boyer, Erika Folk, Christy Folk and four great-grandchildren Jolee, Grant, Logan, Ethan Boyer, and step-great grandson Clay Ramsey. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Luella Fisk Fort Collins CO, Wilma (Earl) Nelson Portland ND, Patricia Frost Mayville, ND, and brother-in-law Chuck (Sandy) Folk Austin MN, and many nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Wilbert, Raeburn, Delwyn and Garry Fisk. Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, 764-9663.
