Otero, David M., 58, a life long resident of Albuquerque, NM born on August 7, 1956 passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014. David is survived by his wife of 26 years, Ruth Otero; daughter, Maria-Elena Otero; mother, Mary C. Otero; brother, Salome Otero Jr. and wife, JoAnn; sisters, Kathy Lopez and Mary Alice Burch and husband, James; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. David was preceded in death by his father, Salome Otero Sr.; brother, Leroi Otero and brother-in-law, Isaac Lopez. David was a long time member of IBEW Local 611. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of The Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW. A Communion Service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the Otero family is requesting that donations be made to the NM Roadrunner Food Bank, 5840 Office Blvd. NE 87109 or to the SW Texas Food Bank, PO Box 2007, Larado, TX 78045.
