Louis "Louie" Moody
July 27th, 1941 - April 24th, 2018
Louis “Louie” Moody, age 76, of The Villages, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. He was born in Attalla, AL on July 27, 1941. Louie served in the US Air Force. He worked for General Motors and retired after 22 years. He moved to Florida in 2000. Louie and his wife travelled to all 49 states on their motorcycle. He enjoyed working golf tournaments in Orlando and playing cards. He is survived by his wife Karen Moody; children K.C., Eric and Shannon; grandchildren Maxwell and Samantha; sister Willie Hunn and her husband Robert; nephews Bob and Mike; and several cousins. A celebration of life for Louie will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages, FL on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10:30am. Reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimers Research Institute. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hiers-baxley.com.
