John M. Heneghan, 85, of Longmont, CO, died July 16, 2015 at the Sunrise Assisted Living Center in Boulder, CO. John was born September 24, 1929 to Patrick and Catherine (Devaney) Heneghan in Chicago, IL. He grew up in the Chicago area where he remained for 40 years. He married Marlene Werenchuk in 1959 and they were married for 56 years this month. Together they lived in Oak Park, IL., before coming to Longmont, CO in 2000. John was a good provider for his family. His work ethic, self determination and independence was an inspiration to all. John’s enjoyment of life was contagious. Survivors: Wife, Marlene “Maya” Heneghan, Longmont, CO; Children: Suzanne (Ian) Hue, Michael Heneghan, Jon Heneghan and May (Andy) Schwartz; 5 Grandchildren. John was preceded in death by 4 brothers.
