Robert L Turner

Robert L Turner (84) of Belen passed away Tuesday May 11. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Aileen Archunde Turner and son, Eric. He is also survived by his brother, Edward Turner and niece Linda Turner, brother-in-law Alfonso Archunde, sister-in-law Paulita Archunde, nieces Chantel Stuckman, Tatia Burke, China Rose Stuckman, Katie Lopez Riddle, and Natalie Archunde, nephews Chance Stuckman, Zachary Burke, Brandon Burke, Corey Archunde, and Nick Lopez. Robert was born in 1937 in Oklahoma City and raised in Galveston TX. He served in the Navy, attended college at Highland University where he met his wife, Aileen. He received his degree in Chemistry from UNM and worked at the US Geological Survey. He was an avid mountaineer, cyclist and photographer. He retired to Belen. Services to be held Saturday May 22, 2021 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 5800 Ouray, Albuquerque. Rosary will be at 9:30am followed by mass at 10am on that day. Interment will be at Seboyeta cemetery, Seboyeta, NM following mass. Arrangements are being handled by Riverside Funeral Home in Albuquerque.
