Phil gained his wings and joined Gods army on March 4,2022 Phil is loved by many people. He had a heart of gold and he was a loving husband, father. Grandfather, great grandfather, Phil was the strength of the family and kept the family together the backbone of the family. Phil loved his wife and worked very hard to make sure his family had everything they needed he loved to be home. Phil loved Katie; they were married for 60 years; he loved all their kids and grandchildren. He was the definition of a hardworking and loving man and loyal husband Phil stuck through not only the good times but more so even the hard times Phil so loved the lord. Phil is loved by many people he will be missed by many. Phil is preceded in death by his loving wife Katie Montoya, his parents Margaret Navarez and Casper Montoya, his brothers Louie Sandoval, Joey Montoya, Lalo Montoya, sisters Pricilla Jaramillo, Rosemary Herrera, daughters Joann Montoya, Elisha Montoya, Flora Montoya and grandson Nathan Montoya. Phil is survived by his loving family, daughter Sharon and husband David , Son Carlos Benavidez, son David Chavez, son Joseph Chavez and wife Karen Kelly Garcia Chavez. Sister Gloria Webb , Sister Audrey Flores. Phil also has many grandchildren Jude Rivera, Matthew Montoya and wife Rachel and his children Olivia Montoya and Dominqie Montoya Katrina Montoya ,Quaylo Montoya, Desiree Dinkle, Cassandra Baca and her children Lucas, Amonique, and Derrick Baca ,Danny Baca, Christopher, Baca, Eva Benavidez, Joe Chavez jr. Lorena Dimas and her daughter Nallely and son Jacob. Great grandchildren , Jaden Montoya , Nallely Zorida Angel Cavalier, Jacob Angel Cavalier. Phil is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins he will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
