Stephen Howard Kirkpatrick

On, Friday, August 5, 2022, Steve Kirkpatrick, loving husband and father of two children, passed away at age 69. Steve was born in March, 1953 in Marianna, FL to Ernest and Phyllis Kirkpatrick. The family relocated and resided in Parma Hts, OH for many years. Steve received his business degree from Ashland College in 1975. He began his life long career with Hickory Farms of Ohio in 1977. He worked for Hickory Farms in various positions in Cleveland, Detroit, Toledo, California, and New Mexico. In 1982, he married Tracy Winsler of Toledo, OH. They moved to California and then to New Mexico, and had two children, Elizabeth "Lacy" and Ryan. Steve operated his franchise Hickory Farms business in New Mexico for 25 years. He was an avid music lover, sports lover, especially the Cleveland Browns and Indians. Steve was known for his humor, love of family, strict work ethic, and love of dogs. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Ernest, and his mother Phyllis. He is survived by his wife, Tracy, his two children, Lacy and Ryan, daughter in law Brianna, siblings Lynn, Robert and Roger, Susan Kirkpatrick, Kim Booth, Elizabeth Wilson, Carla Kirkpatrick, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo Blvd NE, Albuquerque, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
