Warner Robins, GA: Mary G. Cooper, 62, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 13, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Second Baptist Church with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Rev. Mike Slade will officiate. Mrs. Cooper was born in New Orleans, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Winifred Dease Gay and her ex-husband Billy Cooper. She was a former nursing assistant in the home health field. She was a member at Second Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and had worked many times in vacation bible school. Mary was a member of Doris Brown’s Sunday School Class. Survivors include her daughter Theresa Chip Williams, son Andy Jessica Cooper, grandchildren Clayton Williams, Emily Grace Williams, Drew Cooper, Peyton Cooper and sister Helen Guy Starling all of Warner Robins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Second Baptist Church Building Fund @ 2504 Moody Rd., Warner Robins, GA, 31088, in memory of Mrs. Cooper. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. .
