It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Victor Allen Martinez, age 59, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, on November 19, 2023. Victor was born on July 16,1964, in Albuquerque, and he carried with him a legacy of kindness, hardwork, and unwavering love. Victor was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, and his caring nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He approached life with a cheerful demeanor and a genuine heart, always ready to bring joy through his humor. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Joseph Martinez (wife Jennifer Martinez), and daughter, Victoria Martinez, who were the lights of his life. Victor was also dearly loved by his father, Joe Martinez, and mother, Audrey Martinez. His granddaughters, Serenity and Lillianna Weisel, brought immense joy to his heart. Victor's sisters, Theresa Santistevan (husband Ken Santistevan) and Erika Cano (husband Joe Cano), Best friend and mother of his children Joyce Martinez, along with his nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family, will forever hold fond memories of their time shared together. The life and legacy of Victor Martinez will be honored in a ceremony to be held on December 11, 2023, at Riverside Funeral Home, starting at 2:00 PM. Family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched are invited to pay their respects, to a cherished individual who brought light into the lives of others. His spirit will continue to resonate through the cherished memories he created with his loved ones. May his soul find eternal peace, and may we find solace in remembering the lasting impact he made on our lives. As we bid farewell to our dearly departed Victor, let us find solace in the knowledge that his spirit shall forever remain in our hearts. May he find everlasting peace in the embrace of the divine.
