Leah "Lee" Marie Anthis, 31, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020 at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born Wednesday, April 19, 1989 to Marshall "Mark" Quinton Anthis and Rena Marie (McClain) Anthis in Chula Vista, California.Lee was a graduate of the Culinary Institute and worked as a chef in Colorado Springs. She was a people person who got along with everyone she met. Lee had many friends that she treated as family and would do anything for. She was very talkative and never met a stranger. Although adopted by her parents, she was very proud of her Puerto Rican heritage. She loved to cook and travel, and enjoyed sports and music, particularly Coheed and Cambria. Lee also loved spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephew, and her dog, Murdock.Lee is survived by her parents; brother, Kelsey B. Anthis; sister, Brittney M. Anthis; and niece and nephew, Hadleigh J. Rose and Calum M. Rose.A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.Due to potential health concerns, the family requests masks to be worn and proper social distancing practices to be used.
