Joyce Green, 81 of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on February 8, 2024 with her loved ones by her side. Born in Lake Wales, Florida she was a lifelong resident of Polk County. Joyce was an original member of Central Avenue Baptist Church in Lake Wales. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Theron and Mettler Whidden; brothers, Kenneth Whidden, Lynn Whidden, Lee Whidden. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Carl Green. A visitation will be held Wednesday February 14, 2024 at Eagle Lake Church of Christ at 10:00 am, with the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will be immediately after the funeral service at Church of Christ Cemetery in Eagle Lake.
