Ninya "Tuten" Bonita Scott
September 8th, 1932 - July 9th, 2016
Ninya Bonita Scott, age 83, died peacefully in her favorite chair at the loving community of Brookdale, where she has happily resided for the last five years. She was born in Alabama to Robert and Mary Tuten on September 8, 1932. When young, Ninya modeled coats and suits in New York and dabbles in show business as singer/dance, mostly on the east coast and later became a cosmetologist. She is survived by her son, Edward Scott and daughter in law, Laura. Granddaughter, Erika, Grandson, Matthew and a brother, Jim Tuten. She is predeceased by her two sons, Jonathan Pridemore and Robert Scott. Ninya has resided in Melbourne, Florida for the last 30 years as a faithful servant of Jehovah. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Brookdale assisted living on Hibiscus in Melbourne for their loving care and friendship. A memorial talk will be at the Kingdom Hall (321-9520873) on 3395 Fell Rd. in Melbourne, FL on Wednesday at 2:00pm. A private burial will follow.
