Charles Edward Hughes, 89 of Indian Harbour Beach passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. He moved from Sagnore Beach, MA to Brevard County in 1999. Charles worked as an office manager for Asiatic Petroleum in New Yor City. He was member of Holy Name of Jesus Church, Indialantic where he served as an Eucharistic Minister and volunteered at the Thrift Shop He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Agnes. Survivors include his three sons; Christopher (Mary Ann), Gregory (Sharon), and Jeffrey; three grandchildren Katherine, Connor and Amanda and one great grandchild, Vivienne. The family will be receiving family and friends at a visitation on Thursday, August 4th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at Beach Funeral Homes, Indian Harbour Beach. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Indialantic. In addition to flowers, donations may be made in Charles' memory to Holy Name of Jesus Church, Indialantic.
