December 26th, 1937 - August 20th, 2017
ZAMOT Jr., Agustin 79, of Tampa, Florida passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017. He was born in Puerto Rico and moved to the United States in the 1950’s. After serving in the United States Navy, Agustin worked as a bus driver for New York City Transit for over 20 years. He then retired and moved to Florida in the early 1990’s. Agustin was an avid sports fan and always enjoyed cheering on the home teams, Tampa Bay Rays and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also loved traveling to visit his family in Puerto Rico. Agustin is survived by his two loving daughters, Sally Carattini, and Audrey Zamot and her husband, Edward Torres; two brothers, Carlos Zamot, and Osvaldo Zamot; one sister, Mary Remmel; grandchildren, Kristin, Kim, Richard, and Brian; one great grandchild, Isabella. A funeral service will take place at 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
