Joan Greco

Joan Greco, 72, of Land O’Lakes, Florida passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015. She was born in Manhattan, New York and moved from Rockland County, New York to Cape Coral, FL for 30 years then on to Land O’Lakes, Florida. She was a homemaker, dance instructor and artist. She was a free spirit and lived life on her own terms. Joan fought a courageous battle until the end of her life. Joan was a loving wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Helen Tanzun. She is survived by her loving husband, Leonard Greco. Leonard shares his thoughts with you, “We were married in 1961, I will miss her for the rest of my life”. Joan is also survived by her sons, Lenny Greco, Chris Greco and Michael Greco; her daughter, Gina Greco Sankoe; and 10 grandchildren. A cremation tribute will be held at Gina Sankoe’s home on Friday, July 3rd from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. which is located at 20902 Lake Talia Blvd., Land O’Lakes, Florida.
