Cyr, Maureen R. 73, of St. Petersburg, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010. She was born and raised in Boston, MA. She retired from Brighthouse Networks. She loved to fish and was a die hard Red Sox fan. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Ruth McGowan. She is survived by her husband, Louis M. Cyr; children, Christopher M. Cyr, Daniel T. Cyr, Joseph X. Cyr, Tracy A. Dinehart, Louis A. Cyr, Douglas E. Cyr, Timothy J. Cyr, and Edward M. Cyr; 18 grandchildren, brother, John McGowan of Weymouth, MA; several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 5 - 8pm at Anderson McQueen Family Tribute Center, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 1pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 200-78th Avenue NE, with burial to follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
