John "Jack" L. Hamm
November 16th, 1947 - April 13th, 2011
Hamm, Jr., John L. "Jack" 63, passed away at home Wednesday April 13, 2011 surrounded by family and friends. Born in Philadelphia, PA to parents John and Helen Hamm. In 1952 he moved to St. Pete; he graduated from Dixie Hollins and USF and was a licensed CPA. Jack served in the Navy for 4 years. His career was with Rowland, Inc. as their VP/CFO. Jack's main interest was serving his community through the Sunshine City Kiwanis Club being Past President and Secretary/Treasurer for over 20 years. He enjoyed bowling, tennis, golfing and travel. Jack is survived by his loving family, wife, Carolyn; son, Justin (Dawn); daughter, Amber (Jason); grandchildren Cody, Abigail and TJ; sisters Barbara Baker (Bob) and Carol Humphries (Jim); aunt, Dot Gramigna and many cousins, nieces and nephews and Charlene Bowman ("What's up with Jack"). Visitation from 4-7PM Sunday April 17th at Anderson-McQueen, 7820 38th Avenue North. A Mass will be held at 1:00PM Monday, April 18th at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, Safety Harbor, with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Suncoast Hospice.
