Stockwell, Oreta R. ?Rita,? 65, of St. Petersburg, passed away Tuesday December 19, 2000 after a short illness. Born in Cowen, West Virginia, she came here in 1970 from Canton, Ohio. She worked at Benders Restaurant in Canton, Ohio for many years. She enjoyed many different arts, crafts and cooking. Survivors include three sons, Jon A. Lucas of St. Petersburg, FL, Ronford W. McCourt and Bartley E. McCourt both of Canton, Ohio, her daughter, Gayle L. Stockwell of St. Petersburg, FL, two sisters, Aleta K. Forsberg and Shelby J. Doss both of St. Petersburg, FL, her aunt, Rhoadie Ellison of Rand, W.V., her grandson, Vantz M. Stockwell of St. Petersburg, two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday Dec. 23, 2000 2pm at 7230-4th Street N., Lot# 1602, St. Petersburg. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Bobbitt Chapel, St. Petersburg, FL.
