Schenck, William Edward ?Bill,? 64, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday March 10, 2001. Born in Renovo, PA, he came here in 1976 from Panama. Mr. Schenck was an Army veteran during the Vietnam War. He retired as the Veterans Administrator for the accounting office at the Veterans Administration & Allstate Insurance National Claims Service Center in St. Petersburg. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the American Legion. Survivors include is wife of 28 years, Edna M. of St. Petersburg, two daughters, Vanessa E. of St. Petersburg and Kelly Sohler of Vernonia, OR, one son, Donald E. of St. Petersburg, one sister, Ruth Carl of Renovo, PA, one brother, Ray Schenck of Renovo, PA, and five grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 300 East Bay Drive, Largo, FL 33770. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Bobbitt Chapel, St. Petersburg.
