Harkey, Carl, 85, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday April 29, 2001 at home. Born in Bryan?s Mill, Texas, he came here in 1978 from Jersey City, New Jersey, where he retired as a welder for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and the Korean War, a member of the Masonic Lodge in Texas and was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Pauline Harkey. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes and Cremation Tribute Center?Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
