William Bill'' Robert Walton
December 24th, 1927 - February 8th, 2002
Walton, William R., M.D., 74, of St. Petersburg, died Friday February 8, 2002 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. He came here in 1960 from his native Birmingham, AL. He was a physician serving the community for over twenty years and a retired U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth ?Betty? G.; and his two sons: Robert M., a resident of Houston, TX; and Thomas M. ?Michael?, a resident of Ansbach, Germany; and a granddaughter, Michaela B. Walton, also of Ansbach, Germany. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his memory to First United Methodist Church, 212-3rd St. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33701, or to your chosen charity. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
