Lee, Margaret C., 96, of The North Shore on Beach Drive in St. Petersburg, died Saturday, August 24, 2002. Born in Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. She moved here in 1954 from The Plains,Virginia. She was a receptionist for AARP and retired in 1984. She was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church for 48 years. She was a charter member of American Association of Retired Persons. She was an active member in the Women?s Home League of the Salvation Army where she played the piano for 23 years. She also volunteered for the League of Mercy serving Meals on Wheels. She was a shining star of Christian values and graciousness; and ode of joy spiritually and musically through all of her life. Survivors include one son, Robert E. Lee Jr., two daughters, Nancy Lee Andrews and Ann Lee Harrison all of St. Petersburg, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contriobutions be made to Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, 2612 12th St. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33704 Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
