Skinner, James Charles, 60, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday Jan. 28, 2003 at St. Petersburg General Hospital. He came here in 1945 from his native Dames Ferry, GA. He was a retired truck driver for Florida Steel. He was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Eva; two daughters: Ann Donald, St. Petersburg; and Betti Skinner, Safety Harbor, FL; one sister, Betty Olson, Old Town, FL; two brothers: Jerry Jacobs, Old Town, FL; and Jeffery Jacobs, St. Petersburg; and one granddaughter. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
