December 21st, 1949 - April 9th, 2003
Kleine, Richard K., 53, of Tampa and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday April 9, 2003 at Town & Country Hospital in Tampa. Born in Norfolk, VA, he came to St. Petersburg in 1979 from New Hampshire, before later moving to Tampa. He was a Staff Sergeant, Fuel Systems Specialist, with the U.S. Airforce during the Vietnam War. He worked on the development of the F-16?s that are currently being used in the liberation of Iraq. He was also requested to work on Air Force 1. He was actively employed as a Distribution Clerk for the U.S. Post Office in Tampa. Survivors include two sons: Keith Edward Kleine, Alaska; and Craig Richard Kleine, Arizona; one sister, Dale L. Kleine, St. Petersburg; and one brother, Walter J. Kleine, Texas. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
