June 27th, 1930 - April 29th, 2003
McCool, John E. Jr., 72, of Pinellas Park, died Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at Bay Pines VA Medical Center under Hospice care. Born in Agawam, Massachusetts, he came here in 1993 from Wallingford, CT. He was a Distribution Manager with a freight company and a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict receiving the National Defense Service Medal. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Elks of Pinellas Park, the American Legion and enjoyed painting, fishing and carpentry work. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Genny; two daughters, Lynn Ann Wilcox of Longwood, FL and Christine Williams of Cape Coral, FL; two sons, Keith McCool of Meriden, CT and Kevin McCool of Wallingford, CT; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
