Lieffers, Betty M. ?Nixie?, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday May 22, 2003 at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in San Diego, CA, she came here in 1980 from Grand Rapids, MI. She retired as a legal secretary for Harry Lieffers, Jr., P.C. in Grand Rapids, MI. She was a member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Harry, Jr.; a son, Richard Nixon, Manitowoc, WI; two step-daughters, Marta Northam, Scotts, MI and Jennifer Reibel, Milwaukee, WI; a brother, Jerry Carrol, Muskegon, MI; and four grandchildren.
