Gardner, Geraldine ?Geri,? 66, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday June 29, 2003 at home of cancer. Born in Washington, DC, she came here in 1978 from Silver Spring, MD. She was very involved with the Friends of Stray?s, Inc. Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Frederick; and three step-children: Paul Gardner and Linda Butts, both of Chambersburg, PA; and Marvin Gardner, Orlando, FL. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in her name to the Hospice of the FL Suncoast, 300 E. Bay Dr., Largo, FL 33770 or to the Friends of Stray?s, Inc. 3660 Gandy Blvd. Pinellas Park, FL 33781. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
