Van Deven, Margaret A. ?Margie?, 68, of St. Petersburg, died on Saturday, August 30, 2003 at Bayfront Medical Center of complications following heart surgery. She moved to St. Petersburg in 1954 from her native Brooklyn, NY. She worked as a barmaid for many years at several local restaurants and bars throughout St. Petersburg and most recently as a clerk at Circle K. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and being with people. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Thomas Bennett and Albert Bennett. Survivors include her husband: Charles Van Deven, Sr.; two 2 daughters: Joi Van Deven Blackburn ? Ridge Manor, FL, and June Van Deven Kloosterman ? Melbourne, FL; two 2 sons: Fred Van Deven ? Lakeland, FL and Charles Van Deven, Jr. ? St. Petersburg; ten 10 grandchildren ? Anthony, Tina, Beau, Minday, Kyle, Billy Shannon, Cherilyn, Angel, and Christine; one 1 great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center ?
