Rosalie Alva Kelsey
December 3rd, 1910 - February 12th, 2004
Kelsey, Rosalie Alva, of Clarksville, TN, and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Thursday February 12, 2004 at Alterra Sterling Assisted Living House in Clarksville. Born in New York, NY, she lived in St. Petersburg for 90 years before moving to Clarksville in July of 2001. She was an executive secretary for Florida Power Corporation and was the town clerk for the City of St. Pete Beach. She is a member of the Hilldale United Methodist Church and former member and piano player for the Church By The Sea in St. Petersburg. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Myron George Kelsey, who was very active in St. Pete Beach affairs. Survivors include two sons: Frederick George Kelsey, Clarksville, TN; and Bruce Carlton Kelsey, Winter Haven, FL; three sisters: Ruth Blanton, Catherine Thomas and Susan Cambel, all of St. Petersburg; four grandchildren: Matthew and Katherine Kelsey of Clarksville; and Sean and Philip Kelsey, Orlando, FL; and four great-grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
