Tourtelot, Elizabeth Cooper ?Liz,? 82, of St. Petersburg, died Monday March 22, 2004 at Suncoast Manor Health Center. Born in Riverview, FL, she came here in 1945 from Tampa where she graduated from Plant High School in 1939. In 1943, she graduated from Florida State College for Women now FSU and was very active in Campus activities. She was named in ?Who?s Who in American Colleges and Universities? and received her Master?s Degree in Psychology at Columbia University. She became active in AAUW and her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta and Panhellinic. She was a homemaker and substitute Public School Teacher and was very involved with PTA on the local and county levels including serving on the ?Master Revision Plan for Inservice Teacher Education? in 1971. She was active with the Community Chest Drive, Heart, and Cancer Drives, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Child Guidance Clinic. She was a member of St. Peter?s Episcopal Church since 1946, and served on the St. Agnes Guild and in the ECW. Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Anne ?Kitty? Tourtelot, St. Petersburg; three sons: Richard D. Tourtelot, Jr. and William C. Tourtelot, both of St. Petersburg; and Dr. John B. Tourtelot, Belleair, FL; a sister, Katherine Ann Bradley, Park Ridge, IL; a brother, Frank E. Cooper, Jr., St. Petersburg; step-brother, James Gabriel, Bryson City, NC; seven grandchildren: William C., Jr. and Stephen P. Tourtelot, both of St. Petersburg, Courtney B. and Richard D. Tourtelot, III, both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, John B. Tourtelot, Jr., Lexington Park, MD, Robert M. Tourtelot, Whitby Island, Washington, and Matthew S. Tourtelot, Belleair, FL; and two nephews: Edward J. Bradley, Jr., St. Petersburg; and Brian C. Bradley, Park Ridge, IL. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
