Maurer, Helen E., 84, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday August 12, 2004 at Bon Secours Maria Manor. Born in Fremont Center, NY, she came here in 1981 from Callicoon, NY where she was a member of Callicoon Methodist Church. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for sixty years in New York. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. Survivors include two sons: Gary C. Maurer, Leeds, ME; and Hugh F. Maurer, So. Royalton, VT; a sister, Emily Hodge, Livingston Manor, NY; and two grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
