Burroughs, Margaret, of St. Petersburg, and widow of Johnny Burroughs, former Mayor of St. Petersburg, died Thursday December 16, 2004 after a long illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of St. Petersburg. She was a graduate of St. Pete High School, Class of ?31. She was owner and operator of Flowers Unlimited, formerly Johnstones Florist, for the past sixty five years. She was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church and the Pi Phi Sorority. Survivors include a daughter, Anne Burroughs, St. Petersburg; three sons: John D., Jr., Floral City, FL; William ?Billy,? Tampa; and Rev. Michael T. ?Mickey,? Holiday, FL; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-N.E. St. Petersburg.
