Smith, Doris E. ?Betty,? 79, of St. Petersburg, died Monday August 14, 2006 at Edward White Hospital. Born in Atlanta, GA, she came here in 1989 from Neptune Beach, FL. She worked for the U. S. Army in Jacksonville during WWII. She was an avid Bunco player with her daughter and dear friends. Survivors include a daughter, Judith R. ?Judy? Hales, St. Petersburg; and a son, Robert E. ?Rob?
