Metivier, Roland H. Sr. ?Blackie?, 81, of Gulfport, died Monday, March 19th, 2007 at home. He was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts and came here in 1975 from Seekonk, Massachusetts where he was the owner of the House of Naples Restaurant for five years. Locally, he was a Supervisor for the State of Florida for 20 years. He was a WW II Navy veteran and was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by 2 daughters, Nancy Metivier of Seekonk, Massachusetts and Pearl Grayson of St. Petersburg; 2 sons, Roland H. Metivier, Jr. of Swansea, Massachusetts and Phillip Metivier of Gulfport; 15 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-Tyrone Chapel.
