Shirley "Geiger" M. Campbell
June 24th, 1922 - December 1st, 2014
Shirley M. (Geiger) Campbell, 92, went "home" on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014. Born in Milwaukee, WI she has lived in Seminole for 50+ years. Always living a life of service to others and volunteering her life to make others better. She was an expert at parliamentary procedures and remained active up until this month with American Legion Auxiliary Unit 273 and St. Petersburg Chapter Women of the Moose. She was also active in organizations such as Girl Scouts, Eastern Star, Job's Daughters, Rainbow Girls, VFW, 8/40, to name a few and a champion bingo player who won almost every time she played. She was quite the traveler and shared this love with her children from Europe to South America and numerous places in the U.S.A. There were times when her children were the only kids on an adult trip or cruise because she always took them. Her passion for cooking and bringing family together each Sunday night will always be remembered and Sunday nights will never be the same. Survived by her children and their families: sons, Terry Burns and Rob Campbell (Debbie), daughters Kelli Pilsbury (Kevin) and Traci Noble; grandchildren, Cori Jerger, Jennifer Shinpaugh, Kevin Ryan Pilsbury, Tyler Feeley and Caitlin Campbell; great grandkids, Lexie and EJ Jerger and other relatives in WI. Her dedication to service and living life to its fullest will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be on Friday, December 5th from 12noon to 1:00pm with a Memorial following at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home and then proceeding to Memorial Park where she will be joined with her husband Bob. $(document).ready(function(){ });
