Lorry G. Gerbitz

Lorry Gene Gerbitz, 51, of Debary , FL , passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa , FL. He was born February 2, 1954 at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage , Wisconsin , the sixth child of eleven children born to Howard M. and Darlene L. Gerbitz. He graduated from Pardeeville High School , Pardeeville , WI in 1972. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from April 1975 to April 1979 attaining the rank of Sergeant. In March 2000, he moved to Florida and refurbished cars. A devoted Christian, he served the Lord with a passion as strong as his love for his family. He loved biking, walking, and sharing his life with Christ, great old Seinfeld episodes, and picking strawberries. He has embarked on his final journey and sends his final valediction to his mother, Darlene Gerbitz-Davison of Waunakee, WI, four sisters, Patti (Real) Pinard of Madison, WI, Linda (Steve) Jones, Sheila (Frank) Pavelec of Middleton, WI, Sheri (Russ) Manthey of Pardeeville, WI, and brothers, Richard Gerbitz of Madison, WI, Randy (Sandy) Gerbitz of Vicksburg, MS, Jeffery (Sue) Gerbitz of Elk Grove, CA, Howard Lee (Doris) Gerbitz of Albuquerque, NM, sister-in-law, Jacqueline Gerbitz of Sheboygan, WI, and many nieces and nephews. At the end of his glorious journey, he will joyfully meet and be embraced by grandparents, his father, Howard M. Gerbitz, his brothers, Rev. Larry W. Gerbitz, and Steven D.
