Helen Elizabeth Clark Hutchison, 71, a lifelong resident of St. Petersburg, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007, at home under the care of Hospice. A 1954 graduate of St. Petersburg Senior High School, she was a person ready and willing to help all in need. She was a 25- year volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels; was a lifelong member of Clearview United Methodist Church, where she was active in their food Pantry and Pumpkin Patch project. She was a member of the Second Time Arounders Marching band for 22 years in the honor guard, and has marched in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Dunedin, Dublin, Ireland, San Antonio, Texas, and Portland, Ore. She loved her family, local Florida wildlife, RV camping, and music. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who came in contact with her. Her passing was preceded by her parents, Malcolm, and Martha Clark. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Donald, St. Petersburg; two daughters, Diana Fulton, Seminole, and Julie Hagerman, Oxford, N.C.; a grandson, Steven Fulton; two brothers, Walter Clark, Hernando, and Joseph Clark, St. Petersburg; her two nieces, Deborah Deacon, and Donna Trumm; and nephews, Robert Churuti, Jr., Ricky, Randy, Douglas, David and Michael Clark; and all friends who came to know her. Friends will be received Thursday, August 2, 2007 at the E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home, 4100 16th Street North, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clearview United Methodist Church, 4515 38th Avenue North, St. Petersburg.
