Mie Uechi Johnson, 69, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Bayfront Medical Center. She was born in Japan and moved to St. Petersburg in 1983 from Evergreen Park, IL. She was a Kitchen Worker at the former Bethel Lutheran Church now Hope Lutheran Church where she was a member. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Norman E.; 1 daughter, Erina M. (Scott) Streibich of Abingdon, MD; 1 son, Hideyoshi C. (Mary) Johnson of New York, NY; her mother, Kamado Uechi; 1 brother, Kenichi Uechi both in Japan; and 3 grandchildren, Hana, Anders, and Connor. A memorial service will be 10:15 A.M. Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Hope Lutheran Church 1801-62nd Avenue North, St. Petersburg. $(document).ready(function(){ });
