Ralph Fredrick Meredith, 87, of St. Petersburg, Florida, went to his eternal home Thursday, January 23, 2014. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to St. Petersburg in 1981 Willimantic, CT. He was a sanitation engineer at the University Of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. He was a member of the West Liberty Athletic Club in Pittsburgh, PA and was a Life Member of VFW Post #6827 in St. Petersburg. He was a Navy veteran of WW II. He attended North East Park Baptist Church in St. Petersburg. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy M. Meredith; 1 daughter, Marion C. Meredith of Adams Cove Beach, FL; 1 son, Mark A. Meredith of St. Petersburg, FL; 2 sisters, Dorothy Hamrock of Apopka, FL, Delores (Richie) Hunter of Pittsburgh, PA; and 1 brother, William C. (Linda) Meredith of St. Petersburg.
