Gayle Coffee Mitchell, 70, of Canton, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 5th, 2011 in Asheville, NC. A native of St. Petersburg, FL, she was the daughter of the late Hal C. and Clara Garlington Coffee. She is survived by a husband, Wayne, a son, Ronnie "Gene" Hancock of Clearwater, FL; two daughters, Diane MacNichol and her husband Larry, Crystal Mitchell all of Canton, NC; a sister, Ann Kopp and her husband Bill of Pinellas Park, FL; a brother, Marvin Coffee; two grandsons, Matthew Kekllas and Tim Hancock; and five great grandchildren, Crissy, Kayla, Hayden, Haily, and "Lilman" Tyler all of Canton, NC. Friends may call 12:00 P.M. to service time at 1:00 P.M. PM Monday, January 10, 2011 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100-16th St. No. with Pastor Rick Cowley officiating.
